Williams⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Then I saw in the right hand of Him who was seated on the throne a book with writing on both sides, sealed with seven seals. ² And I saw a mighty angel announcing in a loud voice, "Who deserves to open the book and break its seals?" ³ But no one in heaven or on earth or underneath the earth could open the book or look into it. ⁴ Then I began to weep bitterly because no one could be found deserving to open the book or look into it. ⁵ But one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping! See! The Lion who sprang from the tribe of Judah, who belongs to the line of David, has conquered, so that He can open the book and break its seven seals."
