40 but you refuse to come to me to get possession of life.
41 I do not accept any honor from men,
42 but I am sure that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.
43 I have come in my Father's name, but you refuse to accept me. If anyone else should come in his own name, you would accept him.
44 How can you believe, you who are always accepting honor from one another, but never seek the honor that comes from the one God?
45 Do not be thinking that I am going to accuse you to the Father. You have your accuser; it is Moses on whom you have set your hopes!
46 For if you really believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
47 But if you do not believe what he wrote, how will you ever believe what I say?"
