35 [Note: Cum appropinqua[ret] iesus hiericho cecus quidam sedebat [secus] uiam mendicans. B. ] Þa he genealæhte hiericho. sum blind man sæt wið þæne weg wædligende.
36 & þa he ge-hyrde þa menego farende. he ahsude hwæt þt wære;
37 Ða sædon hig þt þær ferde se nazareniscea hælend;
38 Þa hrymde he & cwæð; Eala hælend dauides sunu gemiltsa me;
39 & þa ðe fore-stopun hine þreadon þt he suwude; Ðæs þe ma he clypode. dauides sunu gemiltsa me;
40 Ða stöd se hælend & het hine lædan to him; Þa he ge-nealæhte he ahsude hine
41 hwæt wylt ðu þt ic ðe dö; Ða cwæð he. drihten. þt ic geseo;
42 Ða cwæþ se hælend beseoh þin ge-leafa þe ge-hælde;
43 And he sona geseah. & him folgode god wuldrigende & eall folc gode lof sealde þa hig þt gesawon;
