  3 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H8085 [H8804] to him, I have heard H8605 thy prayer H8467 and thy supplication H2603 [H8694] , that thou hast made H6440 before H6942 [H8689] me: I have hallowed H1004 this house H1129 [H8804] , which thou hast built H7760 [H8800] , to put H8034 my name H5704 there for H5769 ever H5869 ; and my eyes H3820 and my heart H3117 shall be there perpetually.

  8 H1004 And at this house H5945 , which is high H5674 [H8802] , every one that passeth H8074 [H8799] by it shall be astonished H8319 [H8804] , and shall hiss H559 [H8804] ; and they shall say H3068 , Why hath the LORD H6213 [H8804] done H776 thus to this land H1004 , and to this house?

  10 H7097 And it came to pass at the end H6242 of twenty H8141 years H8010 , when Solomon H1129 [H8804] had built H8147 the two H1004 houses H1004 , the house H3068 of the LORD H4428 , and the king's H1004 house,

  17 H8010 And Solomon H1129 [H8799] built H1507 Gezer H1032 , and Bethhoron H8481 the lower,
  18 H1191 And Baalath H8412 , and Tadmor H4057 in the wilderness H776 , in the land,
  19 H4543 And all the store H5892 cities H8010 that Solomon H5892 had, and cities H7393 for his chariots H5892 , and cities H6571 for his horsemen H2837 , and that H8010 which Solomon H2836 [H8804] desired H1129 [H8800] to build H3389 in Jerusalem H3844 , and in Lebanon H776 , and in all the land H4475 of his dominion.

  22 H1121 But of the children H3478 of Israel H8010 did Solomon H5414 [H8804] make H5650 no slaves H582 : but they were men H4421 of war H5650 , and his servants H8269 , and his princes H7991 , and his captains H8269 , and rulers H7393 of his chariots H6571 , and his horsemen.
  23 H8269 These were the chief H5324 [H8737] of the officers H8010 that were over Solomon's H4399 work H2568 , five H3967 hundred H2572 and fifty H7287 [H8802] , who bore rule H5971 over the people H6213 [H8804] that wrought H4399 in the work.
  24 H6547 But Pharaoh's H1323 daughter H5927 [H8804] came up H5892 from the city H1732 of David H1004 to her house H1129 [H8804] which Solomon had built H1129 [H8804] for her: then he built H4407 Millo.
  25 H7969 And three H6471 times H8141 in a year H8010 did Solomon H5927 [H8689] offer H5930 burnt offerings H8002 and peace offerings H4196 upon the altar H1129 [H8804] which he built H3068 to the LORD H6999 [H8687] , and he burnt incense H4196 upon the altar H6440 that was before H3068 the LORD H7999 [H8765] . So he finished H1004 the house.
  26 H4428 And king H8010 Solomon H6213 [H8804] made H590 a navy of ships H6100 in Eziongeber H359 , which is beside Eloth H8193 , on the shore H5488 of the Red H3220 sea H776 , in the land H123 of Edom.
  27 H2438 And Hiram H7971 [H8799] sent H590 in the navy H5650 his servants H582 H591 , sailors H3045 [H8802] that had knowledge H3220 of the sea H5650 , with the servants H8010 of Solomon.
  28 H935 [H8799] And they came H211 to Ophir H3947 [H8799] , and obtained H2091 from there gold H702 , four H3967 hundred H6242 and twenty H3603 talents H935 [H8686] , and brought H4428 it to king H8010 Solomon.
