Ezra 9 Now when these things were done, the princes drew near to me, saying, "The people of Israel, and the priests and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, following their abominations, even those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

10 H430 "Now, our God, H559 what shall we say H310 after H5800 this? For we have forsaken H4687 your commandments,

12 H5414 Now therefore don't give H1323 your daughters H1121 to their sons, H5375 neither take H1323 their daughters H1121 to your sons, H1875 nor seek H7965 their peace H2896 or their prosperity H5704 H5769 forever; H2388 that you may be strong, H398 and eat H2898 the good H776 of the land, H3423 and leave it for an inheritance H1121 to your children H5769 forever.'

13 H310 "After H935 all that has come H7451 on us for our evil H4639 deeds, H1419 and for our great H819 guilt, H430 since you, our God, H2820 have punished H4295 us less H5771 than our iniquities H5414 deserve, and have given H6413 us such a remnant,

14 H7725 shall we again H6565 break H4687 your commandments, H2859 and join in affinity H5971 with the peoples H8441 that do these abominations? H599 Wouldn't you be angry H3615 with us until you had consumed H7611 us, so that there should be no remnant, H6413 nor any to escape?

15 H3068 Yahweh, H430 the God H3478 of Israel, H6662 you are righteous; H7604 for we are left a remnant H6413 that has escaped, H3117 as it is this day. H6440 Behold, we are before H819 you in our guiltiness; H5975 for none can stand H6440 before you because of this."
