Psalms 80:8-16

VIN(i) 8 You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it. 9 You cleared the ground for it so that it took root and filled the land. 10 The mountains were covered with its shade, and the mighty cedars with its boughs. 11 It sent out its branches to the sea, its shoots to the River. 12 Why did you break down its walls so that those who pass by pluck its fruits? 13 Swine from the forests devour it and creatures of the field feed on it. 14 Return, we beg you, God of hosts. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine, 15 The root that your right hand planted, the shoot that you tended for yourself, 16 - burnt with fire - cut down; they destruct at the rebuke of your face.
