VIN⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' servant, saying, ² "My servant Moses is dead. Get up and cross the Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the Israelites. ³ I'm giving you every place where the sole of your foot falls, just as I promised Moses.
