VIN⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ "Woe to the rebellious children," says the LORD, "who take counsel, but not from me; and who make an alliance, but not with my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin, ² They are setting out to go down to Egypt, without having consulted me; to be assisted by Pharao and protected by the Egyptians. ³ For the protection by Pharaoh will be to you for shame, and the ones relying upon Egypt for scorn. ⁴ For his officials are at Zoan, and his envoys reach to Hanes.
