Exodus 7:19-25

VIN(i) 19 the LORD then spoke to Moses: "Tell Aaron, Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt; its rivers, canals, ponds, and all its reservoirs. They will turn into blood. There will be blood everywhere in Egypt, even in the buckets of wood and stone pitchers." 20 Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded. Aaron raised his staff and struck the Nile in front of Pharaoh and his officials. All the water in the river turned into blood. 21 The fish in the Nile died. The river smelled bad. The Egyptians could not drink any water from the river. There was blood everywhere in Egypt. 22 But the Egyptian magicians did the same thing with their secret arts. Pharaoh's heart was stubborn, and he did not listen to them, just as the LORD had said. 23 Then Pharaoh went into his house, and did not take even this to heart. 24 And all the Egyptians dug all around the river for water to drink, because they could not drink of the water of the river. 25 Seven days passed after the LORD struck the Nile.
