Exodus 32:10-14

VIN(i) 10 And now leave me alone so that my anger may blaze against them, and let me destroy them, and I will make you into a great nation." 11 And Moses implored the LORD his God, and he said, "Why, the LORD, should your anger blaze against your people whom you brought up from the land of Egypt with great power and with a strong hand? 12 Why should the Egyptians say, 'With evil intent he brought them out to kill them in the mountains and wipe them from the face of the earth'? Turn from your fierce anger and relent concerning the disaster for your people. 13 "Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. You took an oath, swearing on yourself. You told them: 'I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky. I will give to your descendants all the land I spoke of. It will be their long lasting possession.'" 14 So the LORD changed his mind and did not bring disaster on his people as he threatened.
