Deuteronomy 19:15-19

VIN(i) 15 "One witness is not enough to convict someone of a crime, offense, or sin he may have committed. Cases must be settled based on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 16 When a malicious witness takes the stand against a man and accuses him, 17 then the two men to whom the legal dispute pertains shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges who are in office in those days. 18 "The judges must make a thorough investigation. If it is found that the witness lied when he testified against the other Israelite, 19 then work to him as he intrigued to work to his brother: thus you burn the evil from among you.
