1 Samuel 17:4-10

VIN(i) 4 A champion named Goliath from Gath came out from the Philistine camp. He was six and a half feet tall, 5 wore a bronze helmet on his head, and wore bronze scale armor that weighed about 125 pounds. 6 Bronze greaves were on his legs, and a bronze javelin was slung between his shoulders. 7 The shaft of his spear was like a weaver's beam and his iron spear's head weighed six hundred shekels, and his shield bearer went before him. 8 He stood and shouted to the armies of Israel, Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and are you not servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves and let him come down to me. 9 If he is able to fight and kill me, then we will be your servants, but if I overcome him and kill him, then you will be our servants, and serve us. 10 The Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day! Give me a man and let us fight one another!
