Thomson⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ And he went and took the book out of the right hand of him who was sitting on the throne. ⁸ And when he took the book, the four animate beings and the four and twenty elders fell down before the lamb, having, every of them, kitharas and golden cups full of incense which is the prayers of the saints. ⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy art thou to take the book and to open the seals of it, because thou hast been slain and hast purchased us for God with thy blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation; ¹⁰ and hast made us kings and priests for our God, and we shall reign on the earth."
