8 He remembered forever his covenant; a word which he gave in charge for a thousand generations:
9 the covenant which he made with Abraham, and that oath of his to Isaak,
10 which he confirmed to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
11 saying, To thee I will give the land of Chanaan to be the lot of your inheritance.
