Luke 10:38-42

Thomson(i) 38 And as they were travelling, he came to a certain village, and a woman whose name was Martha, received him into her house. 39 Now she had a sister called Mary, who sat down at the feet of Jesus and heard his discourse. 40 But Martha was cumbered about dispensing amply for the entertainment. So coming in, she said, Master, Carest thou not that my sister hath left me to serve alone? Speak to her therefore that she may assist me. 41 In reply to which, Jesus saith to her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and troubling thyself about many things. 42 But there is one thing necessary. As for Mary, she hath chosen that good portion which shall not be taken from her.
