23 [p] I beheld the earth and lo! a void! Then the heaven; and its lights were gone.
24 I beheld the mountains; and they were trembling, and all the hills were in perturbation.
25 I looked; and lo! there was not a man; and all the birds of the air were flown.
26 I beheld; and lo! Karmel was a desert; and all the cities were burned with fire. At the presence of the Lord; and because of his fierce anger, they are utterly destroyed.
