Thomson⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Since you then have been raised up with the Christ, seek the things which are above; where the Christ is seated at the right hand of God. ² Set your affections on the things above and not on the things of this earth. ³ For you have died, and your life is hid with the Christ in God. ⁴ When the Christ, our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory. ⁵ Mortify, therefore, with regard to your members which are on earth, fornication, uncleanness, inordinate passions, wicked desire, and that licentiousness, which is idolatry, ⁶ on the account of which things the wrath of God is coming on the children of disobedience, ⁷ and in which even you yourselves "walked formerly when you lived among them. ⁸ But now lay ye aside also all these things, anger, wrath, malice, detraction, obscene discourse out of your mouth. ⁹ Lie not one to another. Having put off the old man, with his deeds, ¹⁰ and put on the new man, which is renewed for knowledge after the image of him who created it,
