1 Samuel 8:7-9 And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken to the voice of this people as they have spoken to thee. For they have not rejected thee; but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

Nevertheless testify to them, and tell them the prerogative of the king who shall reign over them.
