33 For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, As in all the congregations of the saints
34 let your women be silent in these congregations: for they are not permitted to talk, but to be in subjection, as the law also saith:
35 And if they wish to learn any thing let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for women to talk in a congregation.
36 Did the word of God go forth from you? or did it come to you only?
37 If any one be, in reality, a prophet, or a spiritual man, let him acknowledge that what I write to you are the commandments of the Lord.
38 But if any one doth not know this, let him continue ignorant.
39 So then, brethren, be ambitious of prophesying, and prohibit not the speaking with tongues.
40 Let all things be done in a becoming and orderly manner.
