Revelation 7:1-17

Sawyer(i) 1 (4:7) And after this I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascend from the east, having the seal of the living God, and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to injure the earth and the sea, 3 saying, Injure not the earth nor the sea nor the trees, till we seal the servants of our God on their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand were sealed from every tribe of the children of Israel. 5 (4:8) From the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand, from the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad twelve thousand, 6 from the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, from the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand, 7 from the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, from the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand, 8 from the tribe of Zebulon twelve thousand, from the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, from the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand. 9 (4:9) After this I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and having palm branches in their hands; 10 and they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation be to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four cherubs, and fell down before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 saying, Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever. 13 (4:10) And one of the elders answered and said to me, Who are those clothed with white robes, and whence did they come? 14 And I said to him, My Lord, you know. And he said to me, These are those who come out from great affliction, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple, and he that sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 And they shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun strike them nor any heat, 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall feed them and lead them to fountains of the waters of life, and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
