Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh. ²² Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall exclude you from their company, and reproach and cast out your names as evil, on account of the Son of man. ²³ Rejoice in that day, and be exceedingly glad; for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For in this manner did their fathers to the prophets. ²⁴ But woe to you rich! for you have your consolation. ²⁵ Woe to you full! for you shall be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now! for you shall mourn and weep. ²⁶ Woe, when all men speak well of you! for in this manner did their fathers of the false prophets.
