2 Corinthians 6

Sawyer(i) 1 (1:17) And being also co-laborers we exhort you not to receive the grace of God in vain,— 2 for he says, In an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of salvation I helped you; behold, now is an acceptable time, behold, now is a day of salvation,— 3 giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry may not be blamed, 4 but in every thing commending ourselves as ministers of God, in great patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in dissensions, in labors, in watchings, in fastings, 6 in purity, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned, 7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; with the arms of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 with honor and dishonor, with evil report and good report; as deceivers and true, 9 as unknown and well-known, as dying and behold we live, as chastened and not killed, 10 as grieving but always rejoicing, as poor but making many rich, as having nothing and possessing all things. 11 (1:18) Our mouth is opened to you, Corinthians, our heart is enlarged; 12 you are not straitened in us, but you are straitened in your own souls; 13 and now as a return of benefits, I speak as to children, do you also be enlarged. 14 (1:19) Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers; for what participation has righteousness with wickedness? or what communion has light with darkness? 15 and what agreement has Christ with Beliar, or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 and what agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God; as God said, I will dwell in them, and I will walk in them, and I will be to them a God and they shall be to me a people. 17 Go out therefore from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and touch not the impure; and I will receive you, 18 and will be to you a father, and you shall be to me sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
