Rotherham⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁷ Ye have heard, that it was said, Thou shalt not commit adultery: ²⁸ But, I, say unto you, that, Every one who looketh on a woman so as to covet her, already, hath committed adultery with her, in his heart. ²⁹ And, if, thy right eye, is causing thee to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from thee,––for it profiteth thee, that, one of thy members, should perish, and not, thy whole body, be cast into gehenna. ³⁰ And, if, thy right hand, is causing thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee,––for it profiteth thee, that, one of thy members, should perish, and not, thy whole body, into gehenna, depart.
