28 When a man findeth a damsel that is a virgin who is not betrothed, and layeth hold of her, and lieth with her, and they are found,
29 then shall the man who lay with her give unto the damsel’s father, fifty [shekels] of silver,––and she shall be, his, wife, because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away, all his days.
