He had seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. ⁷ He came and took the book from the right hand of him who was sitting on the throne. ⁸ When he took the book the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp and a golden bowl full of incense, which is the prayers of the holy. ⁹ Then they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy art thou to take the book and to open its seals, for thou wast slain and didst ransom for God by thy blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation, ¹⁰ and hast made them a kingdom of priests to our God, and they shall be kings on the earth."
