18 Being then set free from sin, you became the slaves of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men, because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as you have yielded your members as slaves to uncleanness and to ever increasing iniquity; so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness, leading to holiness.
20 For when you were the slaves of sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.
21 But what benefit did you get from those things of which you are now ashamed? for the result of those things is death.
22 But now, having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you gain the benefit that leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
