19 But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I may also be of good cheer, when I receive news from you.
20 For I have no man like him, of so kindred a spirit, who will genuinely care for your welfare.
21 For all seek after their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ's.
22 But you know he has proven himself, that, as a son with his father, he has served with me in the gospel.
23 Therefore, I hope to send him presently, as soon as I shall see how it will go with me.
