But he said, Suffer me first to go and bury my father. ⁶⁰ And he said to him, Let the dead bury their own dead; but go thou and carry the tidings of the kingdom of God. ⁶¹ And another also said, I will follow thee, Lord; but first let me bid farewell to those who are in my house. ⁶² And Jesus said to him, No one who looketh back after putting his hand to the plough is fit for the kingdom of God.
