And he said to him: My Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father. ⁶⁰ And Jesus said to him: Allow the dead to bury their dead; and go thou and proclaim the kingdom of God. ⁶¹ Another said to him: I will follow thee, my Lord; but allow me first to bid adieu to my household, and I will come. ⁶² Jesus said to him: No man putting his hand to the ox-plough, and looking backward, is fit for the kingdom of God.
