Isaiah 24:17-20 Fearfulness, the pit, and the snare are upon thee, O thou that dwellest upon the earth.

MSTC⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁷ Fearfulness, the pit, and the snare are upon thee, O thou that dwellest upon the earth. ¹⁸ It will come to pass, that whoso escapeth the terrible cry, shall fall in to the pit. And if he come out of the pit, he shall be taken with the snare. For the windows above shall be opened, and the foundations of the earth shall move. ¹⁹ The earth shall give a great crack, it shall have a sore ruin, and take a horrible fall. ²⁰ The earth shall stagger like a drunkard, to and fro; and be taken away like a tent. Her misdeeds shall lie so heavy upon her, that she must fall, and never rise up again.
