7 And there became a war in heaven. Michael and his messengers made war with the dragon, and the dragon and his messengers made war.
8 And they did not prevail, neither was a place found for him anymore in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast down, the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and the Adversary, the one who is misleading the whole inhabited-earth; he was cast down to the earth and his messengers were cast down with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ has become, because the accuser of our brethren has been cast down, who accuses them in the sight of our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.
12 Because of this, O heavens and you who are dwelling in them be joyous! Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great fury, knowing that he has a small time.
