4 And Jesus answered and said to them, Beware, do not let anyone mislead you.
5 For many will be coming in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will be misleading many.
6 But you are about to hear of wars and reports of wars; behold, do not alarmed; for it is essential for all these things to happen, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will arise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes in different places.
8 But all these things are the beginning of travail.
9 Then they will be giving you up to affliction and will be killing you, and you will be hated by all the nations because of my name.
10 And then many will be offended, and will be giving up one another and will be hating one another.
11 And many false prophets will arise and will be misleading many.
12 And because lawlessness will be multiplied, the love of the many will be cold.
13 But he who has endured to the end, this one will be saved.
14 And this good-news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited-earth, for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will be coming.
15 Therefore, whenever you behold the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (let the one who is reading perceive),
16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; 17 let the one who is upon the housetop not go down to take the things out of his house, 18 and let the one who is in the field not turn behind to take his garments. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing in those days! 20 But pray in order that your flight might not happen in the winter, nor on a Sabbath. 21 For then will be great affliction, such-as has not happened from the beginning of the world until now, nor may never happen again. 22 And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved, but because of the chosen, those days will be shortened. 23 Then if anyone says to you, Behold, here is the Christ; or, over here is the Christ. Do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will be giving great signs and wonders; so-then to mislead, if possible, even the chosen.
