37 But though he had done so-many signs before them, yet they did not believe in him,
38 in order that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, ‘Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?’
39 Because of this, they were not able to believe, because Isaiah said again,
40 ‘He has blinded their eyes and he has hardened their heart; in order that they should not see with their eyes and should perceive with their heart and should turn and that I might heal them.’
41 Isaiah said these things, when he saw his glory, and he spoke concerning him.
