1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world, nor the things which are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁵ Do not love the world, nor the things which are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ Because all the things which are in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the self-importance of life, are not from the Father, but are from the world. ¹⁷ And the world is passing away and its lust, but he who is practicing the will of God abides forever.
