27 So-then whoever eats this bread or drinks the cup of the Lord, unworthily of the Lord, will be liable to the body and of the blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man test himself and so let him eat from the bread and let him drink out of the cup.
29 For he who unworthily eats and drinks, is eating and drinking condemnation to himself, if he is not discerning the body of the Lord.
30 Because of this, many among you are weak and sick and a considerable number fall-asleep. 31 For if we were discerning ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But being judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, in order that we should not be condemned together with the world.
