Acts 10:1-5

Living_Oracles(i) 1 Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, named Cornelius, a centurion that called the Italian Band, 2 a man of piety, and one that feared God, with all his house; giving, also, much alms to the people, and praying to God continually. 3 He evidently saw, in a vision, about the ninth hour of the day, a messenger of God coming in to him, and saying to him, Cornelius! 4 And having fixed his eyes upon him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your alms are come up, as a memorial before God. 5 And now send men to Joppa and bring hither Simon, whose surname is Peter:
