Revelation 21:1-9

Lamsa(i) 1 AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away; and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and the very God shall be with them, and be their God; 4 And he shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor wailing, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things have passed away. 5 And he who sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. Then he said to me, Write: for these are the trustworthy and true words of God. 6 And he said to me, I am Aleph and Tau, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give of the fountain of living water to him who is thirsty. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But as for the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the sinful, and the abominable, and murderers, and those who commit adultery, and the magicians, and the idolators, and all liars, their portion shall be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 9 And there came to me one of the seven angels who had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and he talked with me, saying, Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
