32 For if you love those who love you, what is your favor? for even sinners love those who love them.
33 And if you do good only to those who do good to you, what is your favor? for sinners also do the same.
34 And if you lend only to him from whom you expect to be paid back, what is your favor? for sinners also lend to sinners, to be paid back likewise.
35 But love your enemies, and do good to them, and lend, and do not cut off any manÆs hope; so your reward will increase, and you will become sons of the Highest; for he is gracious to the wicked and the cruel.
36 Be therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
