2 For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of our LORD comes just like a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say: Peace and tranquility; then sudden destruction will come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But you, my brethren, are not in darkness that that day shall overtake you as a thief.
