Zechariah 12 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel , saith the LORD , which stretcheth forth the heavens , and layeth the foundation of the earth , and formeth the spirit of man within him.

2 H7760 Behold, I will make [H8802] H3389 Jerusalem H5592 a cup H7478 of trembling H5971 unto all the people H5439 round about H4692 , when they shall be in the siege H3063 both against Judah H3389 and against Jerusalem.

3 H3117 And in that day H7760 will I make [H8799] H3389 Jerusalem H4614 a burdensome H68 stone H5971 for all people H6006 : all that burden [H8802] H8295 themselves with it shall be cut in pieces [H8800] H8295 [H8735] H1471 , though all the people H776 of the earth H622 be gathered together [H8738] against it.

4 H3117 In that day H5002 , saith [H8803] H3068 the LORD H5221 , I will smite [H8686] H5483 every horse H8541 with astonishment H7392 , and his rider [H8802] H7697 with madness H6491 : and I will open [H8799] H5869 mine eyes H1004 upon the house H3063 of Judah H5221 , and will smite [H8686] H5483 every horse H5971 of the people H5788 with blindness.

5 H441 And the governors H3063 of Judah H559 shall say [H8804] H3820 in their heart H3427 , The inhabitants [H8802] H3389 of Jerusalem H556 shall be my strength H3068 in the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 their God.

6 H3117 In that day H7760 will I make [H8799] H441 the governors H3063 of Judah H3595 like an hearth H784 of fire H6086 among the wood H3940 , and like a torch H784 of fire H5995 in a sheaf H398 ; and they shall devour [H8804] H5971 all the people H5439 round about H3225 , on the right hand H8040 and on the left H3389 : and Jerusalem H3427 shall be inhabited [H8804] H3389 again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

7 H3068 The LORD H3467 also shall save [H8689] H168 the tents H3063 of Judah H7223 first H8597 , that the glory H1004 of the house H1732 of David H8597 and the glory H3427 of the inhabitants [H8802] H3389 of Jerusalem H1431 do not magnify [H8799] H3063 themselves against Judah.

8 H3117 In that day H3068 shall the LORD H1598 defend [H8686] H3427 the inhabitants [H8802] H3389 of Jerusalem H3782 ; and he that is feeble [H8737] H3117 among them at that day H1732 shall be as David H1004 ; and the house H1732 of David H430 shall be as God H4397 , as the angel H3068 of the LORD H6440 before them.

9 H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day H1245 , that I will seek [H8762] H8045 to destroy [H8687] H1471 all the nations H935 that come [H8802] H3389 against Jerusalem.

10 H8210 And I will pour [H8804] H1004 upon the house H1732 of David H3427 , and upon the inhabitants [H8802] H3389 of Jerusalem H7307 , the spirit H2580 of grace H8469 and of supplications H5027 : and they shall look [H8689] H1856 upon me whom they have pierced [H8804] H4553 , and they shall mourn H5594 for him, as one mourneth [H8804] H3173 for his only H4843 son, and shall be in bitterness [H8687] H4843 for him, as one that is in bitterness [H8687] H1060 for his firstborn.

11 H3117 In that day H1431 shall there be a great [H8799] H4553 mourning H3389 in Jerusalem H4553 , as the mourning H1910 of Hadadrimmon H1237 in the valley H4023 of Megiddon.

12 H776 And the land H5594 shall mourn [H8804] H4940 , every H4940 family H905 apart H4940 ; the family H1004 of the house H1732 of David H802 apart, and their wives H4940 apart; the family H1004 of the house H5416 of Nathan H802 apart, and their wives apart;

13 H4940 The family H1004 of the house H3878 of Levi H802 apart, and their wives H4940 apart; the family H8097 of Shimei H802 apart, and their wives apart;

14 H4940 All the families H7604 that remain [H8737] H4940 , every family H802 apart, and their wives apart.
