Mark 9:14-29

  14 G2532 And G2064 when he came [G5631]   G4314 to G3101 his disciples G1492 , he saw [G5627]   G4183 a great G3793 multitude G4012 about G846 them G2532 , and G1122 the scribes G4802 questioning [G5723]   G846 with them.

  15 G2532 And G2112 straightway G3956 all G3793 the people G1492 , when they beheld [G5631]   G846 him G1568 , were greatly amazed [G5681]   G2532 , and G4370 running to [G5723]   G782 him saluted [G5711]   G846 him.

  16 G2532 And G1905 he asked [G5656]   G1122 the scribes G5101 , What G4802 question ye [G5719]   G4314 with G846 them?

  17 G2532 And G1520 one G1537 of G3793 the multitude G611 answered [G5679]   G2036 and said [G5627]   G1320 , Master G5342 , I have brought [G5656]   G4314 unto G4571 thee G3450 my G5207 son G2192 , which hath [G5723]   G216 a dumb G4151 spirit;

  18 G2532 And G3699 wheresoever G302   G2638 he taketh [G5632]   G846 him G4486 , he teareth [G5719]   G846 him G2532 : and G875 he foameth [G5719]   G2532 , and G5149 gnasheth [G5719]   G846 with his G3599 teeth G2532 , and G3583 pineth away [G5743]   G2532 : and G2036 I spake [G5627]   G4675 to thy G3101 disciples G2443 that G1544 they should cast G846 him G1544 out [G5632]   G2532 ; and G2480 they could [G5656]   G3756 not.

  19 G611 He answereth [G5679]   G846 him G1161 , and G3004 saith [G5719]   G5599 , O G571 faithless G1074 generation G2193 , how long G4219   G2071 shall I be [G5704]   G4314 with G5209 you G2193 ? how long G4219   G430 shall I suffer [G5695]   G5216 you G5342 ? bring [G5720]   G846 him G4314 unto G3165 me.

  20 G2532 And G5342 they brought [G5656]   G846 him G4314 unto G846 him G2532 : and G1492 when he saw [G5631]   G846 him G2112 , straightway G4151 the spirit G4682 tare [G5656]   G846 him G2532 ; and G4098 he fell [G5631]   G1909 on G1093 the ground G2947 , and wallowed [G5709]   G875 foaming [G5723]  .

  21 G2532 And G1905 he asked [G5656]   G846 his G3962 father G4214 , How long G2076 is it [G5748]   G5550 ago G5613 since G5124 this G1096 came [G5754]   G846 unto him G1161 ? And G2036 he said [G5627]   G3812 , Of a child.

  22 G2532 And G4178 ofttimes G906 it hath cast [G5627]   G846 him G2532 into G1519   G4442 the fire G2532 , and G1519 into G5204 the waters G2443 , to G622 destroy [G5661]   G846 him G235 : but G1536 if G1410 thou canst [G5736]   G1536 do any thing G4697 , have compassion [G5679]   G1909 on G2248 us G997 , and help [G5657]   G2254 us.

  23 G1161   G2424 Jesus G2036 said [G5627]   G846 unto him G1487 , If G1410 thou canst [G5736]   G4100 believe [G5658]   G3956 , all things G1415 are possible G846 to him G4100 that believeth [G5723]  .

  24 G2532 And G2112 straightway G3962 the father G3813 of the child G2896 cried out [G5660]   G3004 , and said [G5707]   G3326 with G1144 tears G2962 , Lord G4100 , I believe [G5719]   G997 ; help thou [G5720]   G3450 mine G570 unbelief.

  25 G1161 When G2424 Jesus G1492 saw [G5631]   G3754 that G3793 the people G1998 came running together [G5719]   G2008 , he rebuked [G5656]   G169 the foul G4151 spirit G3004 , saying [G5723]   G846 unto him G216 , Thou dumb G2532 and G2974 deaf G4151 spirit G1473 , I G2004 charge [G5719]   G4671 thee G1831 , come [G5628]   G1537 out of G846 him G2532 , and G1525 enter [G5632]   G3371 no more G1519 into G846 him.

  26 G2532 And G2896 the spirit cried [G5660]   G2532 , and G4682 rent [G5660]   G846 him G4183 sore G1831 , and came out of him [G5627]   G2532 : and G1096 he was [G5633]   G5616 as G3498 one dead G5620 ; insomuch G3754 that G4183 many G3004 said [G5721]   G599 , He is dead [G5627]  .

  27 G1161 But G2424 Jesus G2902 took [G5660]   G846 him G5495 by the hand G1453 , and lifted G846 him G1453 up [G5656]   G2532 ; and G450 he arose [G5627]  .

  28 G2532 And G846 when he G1525 was come [G5631]   G1519 into G3624 the house G846 , his G3101 disciples G1905 asked [G5707]   G846 him G2596 privately G2398   G3754 , Why G1410 could [G5675]   G3756 not G2249 we G1544 cast G846 him G1544 out [G5629]  ?

  29 G2532 And G2036 he said [G5627]   G846 unto them G5124 , This G1085 kind G1410 can [G5736]   G1831 come forth [G5629]   G1722 by G3762 nothing G1508 , but G1722 by G4335 prayer G2532 and G3521 fasting.
