3 G1161 And G846 as he G4198 journeyed [G5738] G1722 G1096 , he came [G5633] G1448 near [G5721] G1154 Damascus G2532 : and G1810 suddenly G4015 there shined round about [G5656] G846 him G5457 a light G575 from G3772 heaven:

4 G2532 And G4098 he fell [G5631] G1909 to G1093 the earth G191 , and heard [G5656] G5456 a voice G3004 saying [G5723] G846 unto him G4549 , Saul G4549 , Saul G5101 , why G1377 persecutest thou [G5719] G3165 me?

5 G1161 And G2036 he said [G5627] G5101 , Who G1488 art thou [G5748] G2962 , Lord G1161 ? And G2962 the Lord G2036 said [G5627] G1473 , I G1510 am [G5748] G2424 Jesus G3739 whom G4771 thou G1377 persecutest [G5719] G4642 : it is hard G4671 for thee G2979 to kick [G5721] G4314 against G2759 the pricks.

6 G5037 And G5141 he trembling [G5723] G2532 and G2284 astonished [G5723] G2036 said [G5627] G2962 , Lord G5101 , what G2309 wilt thou have [G5719] G3165 me G4160 to do [G5658] G2532 ? And G2962 the Lord G4314 said unto G846 him G450 , Arise [G5628] G2532 , and G1525 go [G5628] G1519 into G4172 the city G2532 , and G2980 it shall be told [G5701] G4671 thee G5101 what G4571 thou G1163 must [G5748] G4160 do [G5721] .

8 G1161 And G4569 Saul G1453 arose [G5681] G575 from G1093 the earth G1161 ; and G846 when his G3788 eyes G455 were opened [G5772] G991 , he saw [G5707] G3762 no man G1161 : but G5496 they led G846 him G5496 by the hand [G5723] G1521 , and brought [G5627] G1519 him into G1154 Damascus.

10 G1161 And G2258 there was [G5713] G5100 a certain G3101 disciple G1722 at G1154 Damascus G3686 , named G367 Ananias G2532 ; and G4314 to G846 him G2036 said [G5627] G2962 the Lord G1722 in G3705 a vision G367 , Ananias G1161 . And G2036 he said [G5627] G2400 , Behold [G5628] G1473 , I G2962 am here, Lord.

11 G1161 And G2962 the Lord G4314 said unto G846 him G450 , Arise [G5631] G4198 , and go [G5676] G1909 into G4505 the street G3588 which G2564 is called [G5746] G2117 Straight G2532 , and G2212 enquire [G5657] G1722 in G3614 the house G2455 of Judas G3686 for one called G4569 Saul G5018 , of Tarsus G1063 : for G2400 , behold [G5628] G4336 , he prayeth [G5736] ,

12 G2532 And G1492 hath seen [G5627] G1722 in G3705 a vision G435 a man G3686 named G367 Ananias G1525 coming in [G5631] G2532 , and G2007 putting G5495 his hand G2007 on [G5631] G846 him G3704 , that G308 he might receive his sight [G5661] .

13 G1161 Then G367 Ananias G611 answered [G5662] G2962 , Lord G191 , I have heard [G5754] G575 by G4183 many G4012 of G5127 this G435 man G3745 , how much G2556 evil G4160 he hath done [G5656] G4675 to thy G40 saints G1722 at G2419 Jerusalem:

14 G2532 And G5602 here G2192 he hath [G5719] G1849 authority G3844 from G749 the chief priests G1210 to bind [G5658] G3956 all G1941 that call [G5734] G4675 on thy G3686 name.

15 G1161 But G2962 the Lord G2036 said [G5627] G4314 unto G846 him G4198 , Go thy way [G5737] G3754 : for G3778 he G2076 is [G5748] G1589 a chosen G4632 vessel G3427 unto me G941 , to bear [G5658] G3450 my G3686 name G1799 before G1484 the Gentiles G2532 , and G935 kings G5037 , and G5207 the children G2474 of Israel:

18 G2532 And G2112 immediately G634 there fell [G5627] G575 from G846 his G3788 eyes G5616 as G3013 it had been scales G308 : and he received sight [G5656] G3916 forthwith G5037 , and G450 arose [G5631] G2532 , and G907 was baptized [G5681] .

19 G2532 And G2983 when he had received [G5631] G5160 meat G1765 , he was strengthened [G5656] G1161 . Then G1096 was [G5633] G4569 Saul G5100 certain G2250 days G3326 with G3101 the disciples G1722 which were at G1154 Damascus.

20 G2532 And G2112 straightway G2784 he preached [G5707] G5547 Christ G1722 in G4864 the synagogues G3754 , that G3778 he G2076 is [G5748] G5207 the Son G2316 of God.
