1 Kings 3:6-12 And Solomon said , Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy , according as he walked before thee in truth , and in righteousness , and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness , that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne , as it is this day.

8 H5650 And thy servant H8432 is in the midst H5971 of thy people H977 which thou hast chosen [H8804] H7227 , a great H5971 people H4487 , that cannot be numbered [H8735] H5608 nor counted [H8735] H7230 for multitude.

11 H430 And God H559 said [H8799] H7592 unto him, Because thou hast asked [H8804] H1697 this thing H7592 , and hast not asked [H8804] H7227 for thyself long H3117 life H7592 ; neither hast asked [H8804] H6239 riches H7592 for thyself, nor hast asked [H8804] H5315 the life H341 of thine enemies [H8802] H7592 ; but hast asked [H8804] H995 for thyself understanding [H8687] H8085 to discern [H8800] H4941 judgment;

12 H6213 Behold, I have done [H8804] H1697 according to thy words H5414 : lo, I have given [H8804] H2450 thee a wise H995 and an understanding [H8737] H3820 heart H6440 ; so that there was none like thee before H310 thee, neither after H6965 thee shall any arise [H8799] like unto thee.
