  2 G2532 (For G2222 the life G5319 was manifested [G5681]   G2532 , and G3708 we have seen [G5758]   G2532 it, and G3140 bear witness [G5719]   G2532 , and G518 shew [G5719]   G5213 unto you G166 that eternal G2222 life G3748 , which G2258 was [G5713]   G4314 with G3962 the Father G2532 , and G5319 was manifested [G5681]   G2254 unto us;)

  3 G3739 That which G3708 we have seen [G5758]   G2532 and G191 heard [G5754]   G518 declare we [G5719]   G5213 unto you G2443 , that G5210 ye G2532 also G2192 may have [G5725]   G2842 fellowship G3326 with G2257 us G2532 : and G2251 truly our G2842 fellowship G1161   G3326 is with G3962 the Father G2532 , and G3326 with G846 his G5207 Son G2424 Jesus G5547 Christ.

  4 G2532 And G5023 these things G1125 write we [G5719]   G5213 unto you G2443 , that G5216 your G5479 joy G5600 may be [G5753]   G4137 full [G5772]  .

  5 G3778 This G2532 then G2076 is [G5748]   G1860 the message G3739 which G191 we have heard [G5754]   G575 of G846 him G2532 , and G312 declare [G5719]   G5213 unto you G3754 , that G2316 God G2076 is [G5748]   G5457 light G2532 , and G1722 in G846 him G2076 is [G5748]   G3756 no G4653 darkness G3762 at all.

  6 G1437 If G2036 we say [G5632]   G3754 that G2192 we have [G5719]   G2842 fellowship G3326 with G846 him G2532 , and G4043 walk [G5725]   G1722 in G4655 darkness G5574 , we lie [G5727]   G2532 , and G4160 do [G5719]   G3756 not G225 the truth:

  7 G1161 But G1437 if G4043 we walk [G5725]   G1722 in G5457 the light G5613 , as G846 he G2076 is [G5748]   G1722 in G5457 the light G2192 , we have [G5719]   G2842 fellowship G3326 one with another G240   G2532 , and G129 the blood G2424 of Jesus G5547 Christ G846 his G5207 Son G2511 cleanseth [G5719]   G2248 us G575 from G3956 all G266 sin.

  8 G1437 If G2036 we say [G5632]   G3754 that G2192 we have [G5719]   G3756 no G266 sin G4105 , we deceive [G5719]   G1438 ourselves G2532 , and G225 the truth G2076 is [G5748]   G3756 not G1722 in G2254 us.

  9 G1437 If G3670 we confess [G5725]   G2257 our G266 sins G2076 , he is [G5748]   G4103 faithful G2532 and G1342 just G2443 to G863 forgive [G5632]   G2254 us G266 our sins G2532 , and G2511 to cleanse [G5661]   G2248 us G575 from G3956 all G93 unrighteousness.

  10 G1437 If G2036 we say [G5632]   G3754 that G264 we have G3756 not G264 sinned [G5758]   G4160 , we make [G5719]   G846 him G5583 a liar G2532 , and G846 his G3056 word G2076 is [G5748]   G3756 not G1722 in G2254 us.
