Ezekiel 16:37-44

37 H6908 Behold, therefore I will gather [H8764] H157 all thy lovers [H8764] H6149 , with whom thou hast taken pleasure [H8804] H157 , and all them that thou hast loved [H8804] H8130 , with all them that thou hast hated [H8804] H6908 ; I will even gather [H8765] H5439 them round about H1540 against thee, and will discover [H8765] H6172 thy nakedness H7200 unto them, that they may see [H8804] H6172 all thy nakedness.

38 H8199 And I will judge [H8804] H5003 thee, as women that break wedlock [H8802] H8210 and shed [H8802] H1818 blood H4941 are judged H5414 ; and I will give [H8804] H1818 thee blood H2534 in fury H7068 and jealousy.

39 H5414 And I will also give [H8804] H3027 thee into their hand H2040 , and they shall throw down [H8804] H1354 thine eminent place H5422 , and shall break down [H8765] H7413 thy high places H6584 : they shall strip [H8689] H899 thee also of thy clothes H3947 , and shall take [H8804] H8597 thy fair H3627 jewels H3240 , and leave [H8689] H5903 thee naked H6181 and bare.

40 H5927 They shall also bring up [H8689] H6951 a company H7275 against thee, and they shall stone [H8804] H68 thee with stones H1333 , and thrust thee through [H8765] H2719 with their swords.

41 H8313 And they shall burn [H8804] H1004 thine houses H784 with fire H6213 , and execute [H8804] H8201 judgments H5869 upon thee in the sight H7227 of many H802 women H7673 : and I will cause thee to cease [H8689] H2181 from playing the harlot [H8802] H5414 , and thou also shalt give [H8799] H868 no hire any more.

42 H2534 So will I make my fury H5117 toward thee to rest [H8689] H7068 , and my jealousy H5493 shall depart [H8804] H8252 from thee, and I will be quiet [H8804] H3707 , and will be no more angry [H8799] .

43 H2142 Because thou hast not remembered [H8804] H3117 the days H5271 of thy youth H7264 , but hast fretted [H8799] H1887 me in all these things; behold H5414 , therefore I also will recompense [H8804] H1870 thy way H7218 upon thine head H5002 , saith [H8803] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H6213 : and thou shalt not commit [H8804] H2154 this lewdness H8441 above all thine abominations.

44 H4911 Behold, every one that useth proverbs [H8802] H4911 shall use this proverb [H8799] H559 against thee, saying [H8800] H517 , As is the mother H1323 , so is her daughter.

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ³⁷ therefore behold, I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them against thee on every side, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness. ³⁸ And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will bring upon thee the blood of fury and jealousy. ³⁹ I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and break down thy lofty places; and they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and take thy fair jewels: and they shall leave thee naked and bare. ⁴⁰ They shall also bring up an assembly against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords. ⁴¹ And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women; and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou shalt also give no hire any more. ⁴² So will I satisfy my fury upon thee, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry. ⁴³ Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; therefore behold, I also will bring thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit [this] lewdness above all thine abominations. ⁴⁴ Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use [this] proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
