JMNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ³³ Then Jesus says, "I am still with you folks for a little time, and then I am withdrawing to bring things, under control, toward the One sending Me. ³⁴ "You people will seek to find Me, but you will not continue coming across, discovering or finding Me – and where I, Myself, am (or: in what place I Myself continue being), you folks have no power (are not able) to come." ³⁵ Therefore, the Jews (= religious authorities) said to themselves (= toward each other), "Where is this fellow about to proceed journeying, that we will not be finding him? He is not about to be traveling into the Dispersion, among the Greeks (= either: the Greek-speaking Jews; or: = all those having been absorbed into the Greek culture and civilization), and to be teaching the Greeks, is he? ³⁶ "What is this word (discourse; saying; communication; expression) which he said, 'You people will continue seeking to find me, but you will not proceed to come across, discover or find me – and where I, myself, am (or: in what place I continue being), you folks have no power (are not able) to come'?"
