ISV⁽ⁱ⁾ ² “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. ³ You are to have no other gods besides me.ב ⁴ “You are not to make for yourselves an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above, or on earth below, or in the water under the earth. ⁵ You are not to bow down to them in worship or serve them, because I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the iniquity of the parents to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, ⁶ but showing gracious love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments.ג ⁷ “You are not to misuse the name of the LORD your God, because the LORD will not leave the one who misuses his name unpunished.ד ⁸ “Remember to keep the Sabbath day holy. ⁹ You are to labor and do all your work during six days, ¹⁰ but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God.
