Judges 9:49 ויכרתו cut down גם likewise כל And all העם the people אישׁ every man שׂוכה his bough, וילכו and followed אחרי and followed אבימלך Abimelech, וישׂימו and put על to הצריח the hold, ויציתו and set עליהם upon את הצריח the hold באשׁ on fire וימתו died גם also, כל them; so that all אנשׁי the men מגדל of the tower שׁכם of Shechem כאלף about a thousand אישׁ men ואשׁה׃ and women.
