13 H935 ויבא was come, H1439 גדעון And when Gideon H2009 והנה behold, H376 אישׁ a man H5608 מספר that told H7453 לרעהו unto his fellow, H2472 חלום a dream H559 ויאמר and said, H2009 הנה Behold, H2472 חלום a dream, H2492 חלמתי I dreamed H2009 והנה and, lo, H6742 צלול a cake H3899 לחם bread H8184 שׂערים of barley H2015 מתהפך tumbled H4264 במחנה into the host H4080 מדין of Midian, H935 ויבא and came H5704 עד unto H168 האהל a tent, H5221 ויכהו and smote H5307 ויפל it that it fell, H2015 ויהפכהו and overturned H4605 למעלה and overturned H5307 ונפל lay along. 14 H6030 ויען answered H7453 רעהו And his fellow H559 ויאמר and said, H369 אין nothing else H2063 זאת This H1115 בלתי save H518 אם save H2719 חרב the sword H1439 גדעון of Gideon H1121 בן the son H3101 יואשׁ of Joash, H376 אישׁ a man H3478 ישׂראל of Israel: H5414 נתן delivered H430 האלהים hath God H3027 בידו into his hand H853 את H4080 מדין Midian, H853 ואת H3605 כל and all H4264 המחנה׃ the host.

15 H1961 ויהי And it was H8085 כשׁמע heard H1439 גדעון when Gideon H853 את H4557 מספר the telling H2472 החלום of the dream, H853 ואת H7667 שׁברו and the interpretation H7812 וישׁתחו thereof, that he worshiped, H7725 וישׁב and returned H413 אל into H4264 מחנה the host H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H559 ויאמר and said, H6965 קומו Arise; H3588 כי for H5414 נתן hath delivered H3068 יהוה the LORD H3027 בידכם into your hand H853 את H4264 מחנה the host H4080 מדין׃ of Midian.

16 H2673 ויחץ And he divided H853 את H7969 שׁלשׁ the three H3967 מאות hundred H376 האישׁ men H7969 שׁלשׁה three H7218 ראשׁים companies, H5414 ויתן and he put H7782 שׁופרות a trumpet H3027 ביד hand, H3605 כלם in every man's H3537 וכדים pitchers, H7386 רקים with empty H3940 ולפדים and lamps H8432 בתוך within H3537 הכדים׃ the pitchers.

17 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אליהם unto H4480 ממני on H7200 תראו them, Look H3651 וכן likewise: H6213 תעשׂו me, and do H2009 והנה and, behold, H595 אנכי when I H935 בא come H7097 בקצה to the outside H4264 המחנה of the camp, H1961 והיה it shall be H834 כאשׁר as H6213 אעשׂה I do, H3651 כן so H6213 תעשׂון׃ shall ye do.

18 H8628 ותקעתי When I blow H7782 בשׁופר with a trumpet, H595 אנכי I H3605 וכל and all H834 אשׁר that H854 אתי with H8628 ותקעתם me, then blow H7782 בשׁופרות the trumpets H1571 גם also H859 אתם ye H5439 סביבות on every side H3605 כל of all H4264 המחנה the camp, H559 ואמרתם and say, H3068 ליהוה of the LORD, H1439 ולגדעון׃ and of Gideon.

19 H935 ויבא him, came H1439 גדעון So Gideon, H3967 ומאה and the hundred H376 אישׁ men H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו with H7097 בקצה unto the outside H4264 המחנה of the camp H7218 ראשׁ in the beginning H821 האשׁמרת watch; H8484 התיכונה of the middle H389 אך and they had but H6965 הקם newly set H6965 הקימו newly set H853 את H8104 השׁמרים the watch: H8628 ויתקעו and they blew H7782 בשׁופרות the trumpets, H5310 ונפוץ and broke H3537 הכדים the pitchers H834 אשׁר that H3027 בידם׃ in their hands.

20 H8628 ויתקעו blew H7969 שׁלשׁת And the three H7218 הראשׁים companies H7782 בשׁופרות the trumpets, H7665 וישׁברו and broke H3537 הכדים the pitchers, H2388 ויחזיקו and held H3027 ביד hands, H8040 שׂמאולם in their left H3940 בלפדים the lamps H3027 וביד hands H3225 ימינם in their right H7782 השׁופרות and the trumpets H8628 לתקוע to blow H7121 ויקראו and they cried, H2719 חרב The sword H3068 ליהוה of the LORD, H1439 ולגדעון׃ and of Gideon.

21 H5975 ויעמדו And they stood H376 אישׁ every man H8478 תחתיו in his place H5439 סביב round about H4264 למחנה the camp: H7323 וירץ ran, H3605 כל and all H4264 המחנה the host H7321 ויריעו and cried, H5127 ויניסו׃ and fled.

22 H8628 ויתקעו blew H7969 שׁלשׁ And the three H3967 מאות hundred H7782 השׁופרות the trumpets, H7760 וישׂם set H3068 יהוה and the LORD H853 את H2719 חרב sword H376 אישׁ every man's H7453 ברעהו against his fellow, H3605 ובכל even throughout all H4264 המחנה the host: H5127 וינס fled H4264 המחנה and the host H5704 עד to H1029 בית השׁטה Beth-shittah H6888 צררתה in Zererath, H5704 עד to H8193 שׂפת the border H65 אבל מחולה of Abel-meholah, H5921 על unto H2888 טבת׃ Tabbath.

23 H6817 ויצעק gathered themselves together H376 אישׁ And the men H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5321 מנפתלי H4480 ומן and out of H836 אשׁר Asher, H4480 ומן and out of H3605 כל all H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh, H7291 וירדפו and pursued H310 אחרי after H4080 מדין׃ the Midianites.

24 H4397 ומלאכים messengers H7971 שׁלח sent H1439 גדעון And Gideon H3605 בכל throughout all H2022 הר mount H669 אפרים Ephraim, H559 לאמר saying, H3381 רדו Come down H7125 לקראת against H4080 מדין the Midianites, H3920 ולכדו and take H853 להם את H4325 המים before them the waters H5704 עד unto H1012 בית ברה Beth-barah H853 ואת H3383 הירדן and Jordan. H6817 ויצעק gathered themselves together, H3605 כל Then all H376 אישׁ the men H669 אפרים of Ephraim H3920 וילכדו and took H853 את H4325 המים the waters H5704 עד unto H1012 בית ברה Beth-barah H853 ואת H3383 הירדן׃ and Jordan.

25 H3920 וילכדו And they took H8147 שׁני two H8269 שׂרי princes H4080 מדין of the Midianites, H853 את H6159 ערב Oreb H853 ואת H2062 זאב and Zeeb; H2026 ויהרגו and they slew H853 את H6159 עורב Oreb H6697 בצור upon the rock H6159 עורב Oreb, H853 ואת H2062 זאב and Zeeb H2026 הרגו they slew H3342 ביקב at the winepress H2062 זאב of Zeeb, H7291 וירדפו and pursued H413 אל and pursued H4080 מדין Midian, H7218 וראשׁ the heads H6159 ערב of Oreb H2062 וזאב and Zeeb H935 הביאו and brought H413 אל to H1439 גדעון Gideon H5676 מעבר on the other side H3383 לירדן׃ Jordan.
