Judges 21:5-11 ויאמרו said, בני And the children ישׂראל of Israel מי Who אשׁר that לא came not up עלה came not up בקהל with the congregation מכל among all שׁבטי the tribes ישׂראל of Israel אל unto יהוה the LORD? כי For השׁבועה oath הגדולה a great היתה they had made לאשׁר concerning לא him that came not up עלה him that came not up אל to יהוה the LORD המצפה to Mizpeh, לאמר saying, מות יומת׃

H3588 כי For H7621 השׁבועה oath H1419 הגדולה a great H1961 היתה they had made H834 לאשׁר concerning H3808 לא him that came not up H5927 עלה him that came not up H413 אל to H3068 יהוה the LORD H4709 המצפה to Mizpeh, H559 לאמר saying, H4191 מות H4191 יומת׃

6 H5162 וינחמו repented H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל them for H1144 בנימן Benjamin H251 אחיו their brother, H559 ויאמרו and said, H1438 נגדע cut off H3117 היום this day. H7626 שׁבט tribe H259 אחד There is one H3478 מישׂראל׃

7 H4100 מה How H6213 נעשׂה shall we do H3498 להם לנותרים for them that remain, H802 לנשׁים for wives H587 ואנחנו seeing we H7650 נשׁבענו have sworn H3068 ביהוה by the LORD H1115 לבלתי that we will not H5414 תת give H1323 להם מבנותינו them of our daughters H802 לנשׁים׃ to wives?

8 H559 ויאמרו And they said, H4310 מי What H259 אחד one H7626 משׁבטי of the tribes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא came not up H5927 עלה came not up H413 אל to H3068 יהוה the LORD? H4709 המצפה to Mizpeh H2009 והנה And, behold, H3808 לא none H935 בא there came H376 אישׁ none H413 אל to H4264 המחנה the camp H3003 מיבישׁ H1568 גלעד H413 אל to H6951 הקהל׃ the assembly.

9 H6485 ויתפקד were numbered, H5971 העם For the people H2009 והנה and, behold, H369 אין none H8033 שׁם there. H376 אישׁ none H3427 מיושׁבי of the inhabitants H3003 יבשׁ H1568 גלעד׃

10 H7971 וישׁלחו sent H8033 שׁם hither H5712 העדה And the congregation H8147 שׁנים twelve H6240 עשׂר twelve H505 אלף thousand H376 אישׁ men H1121 מבני H2428 החיל H6680 ויצוו and commanded H853 אותם H559 לאמר them, saying, H1980 לכו Go H5221 והכיתם and smite H853 את H3427 יושׁבי the inhabitants H3003 יבשׁ H1568 גלעד H6310 לפי with the edge H2719 חרב of the sword, H802 והנשׁים with the women H2945 והטף׃ and the children.

11 H2088 וזה And this H1697 הדבר the thing H834 אשׁר that H6213 תעשׂו ye shall do, H3605 כל every H2145 זכר male, H3605 וכל and every H802 אשׁה woman H3045 ידעת that hath lain H4904 משׁכב that hath lain H2145 זכר by man. H2763 תחרימו׃ Ye shall utterly destroy
